Events of late

Okay, I am aware that I have not posted for a really long time (by my standards), and I do have a backlog of events, photos and some random thoughts to write about lately, but just never got around to it.I've been back from Genting for a long long time now, lagged my days away not quite studying for my chem retest, going for prom, 4D3N 4H chalet and more lagging yet. It's all quite a lot to write about, no wonder I've been putting it off. Anyw, this will definitely be a long-ass entry that might end up to be quite boring as usual.
So my short weekend getaway at Genting was pretty light and fun, mostly just good ol' goofing around with my cousins, shopping with my brother who was dying to sneak into the casino all the time despite being very much underage, going to the outdoor theme park for some thrills, endless Starbucks everyday and more. It was relaxing and enjoyable, just a simple get-together with the family, and I felt good.
Just one simple shot of my family:
When I got back, I didn't much study for the retest anymore. So it was no doubt badly done. Not that I care much anymore on the morning of the retest, I didn't even care enough to bring my notes out for some 垂死的挣扎. It was a hell of a two hours, but it's over and I survived it anyway, badly done or not.
Next was prom on 6th December 2010. My first prom for my 6 years in RV, and not going to be the last one too. I went as a helper, mostly just ushering people around, and taking polaroids for the year 6s. It was a good night for me, I'm not sure why but I felt good. It was also slightly upsetting, once again, that it was not my prom, not my graduation, not my celebration... And yet I was looking on as an outsider. Anyway, it was hard to feel low in such high spirits, so it all started and ended well in all for me.
Some pictures, will not post up too much because they're all on Facebook for about a week already.

With my girls :) Vincent should be photoshopped in!

People who always make things right. With these people around, they really make me feel like I don't need anything/anybody else to live.

Best girls. Always there, always listening, always understanding. I love you girls!

Mao and her million-dollar frock! :)

Mr Best Body! :D looking awesome that night!

RVTT B'girls 07/08: Fullhouse!

Floorball :)
Honestly, it was such a good night. Other than the fact that my toes were bring crushed and felt so uncomfortable and tense in my 11cm heels. I am still suffering side-effects of that crazy pair of heels until now, lol. And I was starved for nearly 12 hours on that day, not eating, not sitting and just walking around and around. Still, it was worth it for a night of glitz and glam. It's probably the last few times I'd get to see this batch together as a whole level already. Everyone looked so good, some people were really a stunner, and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much too. This is definitely going down as a good memory for me :)
As if all that fun wasn't enough, my week ended perfectly with the 4D3N 4H chalet. The last chalet probably.... till I don't even knw when. Since all the guys are going to enlist soon, and the girls will have their own jobs and lives, and enroll in university come August.. (It's like everyone has their own lives to live, and I'm still here, after so long...)
This chalet was quite unlike the usual. Other than it being longer than usual, the location was at HomeTeamNS. Which is some ulu bungalow stuck somewhere at the end of Pasir Ris. Our unit is right next to the park, with a nice beach and all. At night it's really creepy, but in the day the view is beautiful :)
There weren't too many people who came on the first night. Ms Chia came with a friend, and bought doughnuts for us, and she played Taboo V.S. Elijah. As usual, Elijah got suan-ed like mad by her and her friend while the rest of us just laughed like mad at the side. Second night Mr Tan CY came for the BBQ, played cards with the people as usual, and very kindly gave us a lift to and from the chalet to buy drinks. Made us feel so bad =x
During this chalet, I drank the most I ever did at one go (I mean drinking alcohol), slept for 4 days without any blanket or jacket covering me (bloody cold brr..), fooled around buying BBQ food with some of them, went out to catch HP7 with Vincent, sat on a swing and swinged real high like I used to years ago, sat on random see-saws with Sharman talking and laughing at random things, rented bicycles to cycle around the park, tried to teach Sharman how to ride a bike, ran behind her while she successfully ride a bike, went out with the girls to buy bubble tea, watched animated movies and a horror movie, slept.
I kind of love this simple family-like feeling that 4H gives me. But I don't knw when will be the next time, or will there be, ever again ):
4H is really a class I never want to let go.
Anyw, went to visit Vincent on the last day of chalet at bookfest@Suntec with Sharman. Actually not really visit him, more like I wanted to see what was on sale and what I could get for the new school year. Sharman and I ended up loading ourselves with cute post-its and stickers. The queue was mad long, we wanted to get to Vincent somehow, but halfway through we realised the queue was cut in half and ours will not reach him, sadly ):
Then we took the long-ass 97 back to JE, then home. Miss those days don't we ;)
Since I've been back, I'd tidied up my table, threw away useless things that's been taking up too much space for too long, bought some plastic compartments from Daiso today to sort all the chapalangs on my table out properly, and I am satisfied with the way it looks! I've also decided to not spend anymore of my already-not-enough-money on a new (and most likely very expensive) organiser, and just use the free Starbucks one I redeemed at Genting.
Comes free with 12 stamps on the card they gave. Thanks to me and my brother plus other cousins' hardcore spamming Starbucks skills, I filled up the card in 3 days and got my planner! :D Anyway, it's really kind of plain and not so my style. But I'll try to make it work. Am really pleased with the way it looks now!

The outside looks damn posh lol.

Additions to boring blank lines make the page so much more bearable to look at! :D
Alright, I initially had something else I wanted to post about. Actually, quite a lot of different something else. But I'm falling asleep, and the next few days are going to be super full and busy, what with going out with Zhijun and Sherry and possibly Yeejin tmr, Vincent on Tuesday and the 4H gang on Wednesday. Not forgetting chores... And studying...
2010 is ending real soon. Before my year-ender, I will read through my whole archive for this year to recap and set new goals.
There you go, Sylvia and Yuhong! :)
Good night/morning @ 4.02am!
