Down and out Posted at 10:22 PM 0 comments (+) Pardon my general lack of posts lately, I've been literally engulfed by school work and the like in the past week. The only reason that I am updating now on a Monday night is because, I am down with a bout of flu and fever and didn't go to school today. Am not going to attempt work now because I still feel extremely drowsy from sneezing too much D:

Went out to the polyclinic to see the doctor, all for a freaking piece of MC. I reached the place at roughly noon, and after I got my queue number, the first thing anybody told me was to come back at 1.30pm. Wtf man, 1.5 hours with nothing to do in the middle of ulu Jurong East?! I knw they have to go for their lunch break and whatsoever, but when people are already feeling so sickly and all I wanted to do at that time was honestly just go home, I had to hang around so long just to wait for them to eat lunch?! So I took a bus to Clementi and bought Koi. LOL. Since I was already sick, might as well be more sick, who cares.

I estimated the time well enough that the moment I strolled back into the polyclinic at 1.30pm, my queue number was called. But I waited for the doctor to finish his lunch for about 45 more minutes till it was my turn (yes I am the first patient to go in)... And then, my consultation ended in roughly 2 minutes. All for a piece of MC. Fuck this shit, and it cost me $9.50 for a 2 minute consultation.... Count myself unlucky.

Anyway, not like I really have much to post about. My weekend had been totally packed with events and stuff to do.. which includes:


Celebrating Josephine's 19th birthday.


Attending my cousin's wedding dinner :D

And other things like doing chores, going for tuition and shopping with Sharman and Wenyi...I'm mostly done with CNY shopping. Can't even keep track of the amount of money I spent because I just NETS-ed everything I wanted so now I am really really broke... If my parents find out about the pathetic dismal amount of money that is left in my bank account now, I think I'll have to declare myself homeless and live on the streets, no joke.

Speaking of that, I impulsively bought myself something from an online shop and bombed another 30 dollars or so. Even though it is something I really want and would like to own, I admit I acted on impulse without thinking about whether it is really worth the price and whether I really need it etc. I feel so dead now... Okay, so what happens now is, tmr I'm going to bring my ATM card out to pay for that item, then I'll bring it back home and lock it somewhere and never use it again.

Okay, what's done can't be undone. So I'm going to go chill now, pack my bags and go to bed. Hopefully I wake up feeling less shitty, and richer.

Oh yeah, I signed up for econs tuition too, which will take place every Saturday. So hmm... Maybe not till next weekend. Till... Who knws when.
