The first week of school is already over by now, and all I can say is... I don't foresee much of relaxation and enjoyment in the rest of 2011.

Lessons began proper on the first day of school, 4th Jan. I was quite thrown because I couldn't understand anything at all in the lectures, nor remember anything that was taught last year. Homework already piled in, and all the teachers have been stressing how little time there is left till the A's and so on since Day One of school.

Wow.

I never thought I could work so hard. For the whole week, since I got home it's homework and more homework for me. I quit turning on the computer altogether and sat in my room doing homework. Even on a Friday night, instead of being on the computer as usual, on MSN and probably Tumblr-ing away, I sat down and did my vectors tutorial, econs handout and GP AQ. Even back in my year 1 days, I never ever did work on a Friday night because there was the whole weekend ahead of me! But uh now, guess not.

Felt really drained every day by the time school let out. I'd never fail to doze off while attempting to do my work at night. But a few things I do love about school is having my own classroom now, and nobody picks on us while I go around picking on people who get in my way (HAHA), and probably the routine to get me back on my feet and working properly towards the final destination.

I have some goals in mind, and I knw exactly where I want to be in maybe, 8 months from now. So I guess now, all that is left is to absorb in class and keep up the momentum for completing my work. Oddly enough, I do feel a frission of satisfaction and achievement when I clear all homework for the night.

Anyhow, I am screwed now because there is chem test coming up on Monday, and I have not studied. I chose to spend the day with my girls, trying to shop for our CNY clothes. It was definitely a good day spent, I can't even remember when we last went shopping together, albeit town was so very packed and I felt really tired and hungry towards the end of the day.

Tuition first thing tmr, then back home for chores and then I'll keep studying again till Monday comes and the whole cycle repeats itself...
